River Liffey Stories

‘The River Liffey stories’ is a collection of short films which  showcase the rich heritage  of north west Wicklow, revealing fascinating stories about nature, history, people and landscape associated with the River Liffey in county wicklow, from its its source high in the Wicklow mountains as it winds its way through the Blessington lakes and beyond. We are launching three films during Heritage Week 2021 - 'Christopher and the Trout' 15th August, 'A Mark of Invasion' 17th Aug 6 pm; and 'A Year in Nature' 18th Aug 6 pm.

The stories stemmed from a previous River Liffey Heritage recording project carried out through the County Wicklow Heritage Plan and funded by Wicklow County Council and The Heritage Council.  To read more, elsewhere on this site (under places)  follow the following link; River Liffey Heritage Project
