This is a photo of my mother taken by my father in c.1925. It is of “Moore’s Tree” situated at the Meeting of the Waters where, it is said, Thomas Moore sat and wrote some of his famous poems. This tree is long since gone. I doubt if anyone still living remembers it!

It was still there in the early 1960’s.
