Softly March Away: Stories From Greystones and the Great War



The names of 22 men are on the first World War memorial tablet inside St Patrick’s Church, Greystones.
Who were they? Where did they live and how did they die?
Come and hear their stories at a special remembrance evening in the church on Saturday, November 8th at 8pm.
Tickets: €10 each, on sale from Sunday, October 12th, are available from the parish office, St Patrick’s Church; Mooney’s shop on Trafalgar Road; Greystones Antiques by the Dart station, and also on the night – if still available.
Written and presented by Irish Times journalist Peter Murtagh, with musical accompaniment by mezzo-soprano Dara MacMahon, baritone Rory Musgrave and pianist Svetlana Rudenko.
