Archaeological Excavation at St.Crispin's Cell - Rathdown Heritage Site

Following a geophysical survey indicating that rich history of the past may be unearthed in this area, Greystones Tidy Towns and Redford Park and St.Crispin’s Residents’ Association have initiated an archaeological dig in this Medieval Settlement – just north of Greystones and protected under the National Monuments Act. Human habitation dating back to the early Neolithic period has been detected in the area and we now seek your participation in getting further knowledge of our common past.

During the 5 day week Monday 5th to Friday 9th November Mornings from 09.30 to 13.00, Afternoons from 14.00 to 16.30

Minimum contribution one half day – no prior experience is required.
