An exciting  opportunity exists to take part in a Community Archaeological Excavation taking place at Glendalough from the 8th- 20th August. Join the  excavation team, led by UCD School of Archaeology in their exploration of the medieval enclosure of Glendalough.  This is a unique opportunity at a very significant site  and would suit anyone with an interest in history and archaeology and with at least two days to spare. Free of charge with full training provided. No experience required just enthusiasm.  Limited places are available,  booking is required contact glendaloughheritageforum@gmail.com.
