March Away My Brothers

‘March Away My Brothers’ is a one man show taken from a book by the same name by Brendan MacQuaile; it follows the journey of a young lad Lawrence Kelly from Bridgefoot Street in Dublin’s liberties to the Christmas Truce in 1914, somewhere near the Messines Ridge, Flanders where so many Irish soldiers fought and died.

The show is a fundraiser organised by the Wicklow War Memorial Committee, a group of local volunteers working to erect a suitable memorial to commemorate the memory of Wicklow soldiers.

Taking place at Hollywood Centre on 11th May @ 7.00pm.
