'OUR WICKLOW WOMEN' AT GREYSTONES LIBRARY

 

Greystones Archaeological & Historical Society will host a celebration of the ‘Our Wicklow Women’ exhibition at Greystones Library at 7pm on Thursday 1 August 2019.

The event will include a talk by researcher Liz Goldthorpe on Averil Deverell, the first woman to practice at the Bar in Ireland, lifelong Greystones resident and one of the women included in the exhibition. This will be followed by a wine reception.

The exhibition, which was curated by Deirdre Burns, Heritage Officer, and Catherine Wright, Archivist, Wicklow County Council, will be showing at Greystones Library throughout August.
