We Need To Talk about St. Kevin
Since 2009 the UCD School of Archaeology have been working in the Glendalough valley, on an annual basis as part of their field school addressing broad questions about the evolution of the valley over time. This has included excavations, geophysical survey and palaeoenvironmental work. Cumulatively these investigations have a shed new light on our understanding of aspects to do with settlement, unrest and industrial activity at Glendalough and have altered some of our historically accepted truths.
This talk is facilitated by the School of Archaeology, UCD as part of ongoing work through the Glendalough Heritage Forum to enhance our understanding and appreciation of this incredibly rich heritage. All are welcome to attend.
Friday 29th January @ 7.00pm in the Glendalough Hotel.
