Wild Waters talk in Wicklow Library 11th May 2023


All are invited to attend an upcoming talk with acclaimed Wicklow author and ecologist Richard Nairn on his latest publication ‘Wild Waters the magic of Ireland’s Rivers and Lakes’. The talk will take place in Wicklow Town library on Thursday 11th May 7-8pm.
Richard Nairn is a well known writer who has published six previous books on themes of natural heritage. ‘Wild Waters: The Magic of Ireland’s Rivers and Lakes’ is the third volume of his memoirs following the acclaimed titles Wild Woods (2020) and Wild Shores (2022) . The Avonmore River features heavily in the book making it of particular interest to Wicklow audiences. This event is organised by the heritage office of Wicklow County Council in association with Wicklow library services. Attendance is free but booking is required as the venue has a limited capacity.
