Built Heritage Jobs Leverage Scheme

Wicklow County Council wishes to invite applications under the Built Heritage Jobs Leverage Scheme (BHJLS), as operated by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

This scheme seeks to encourage the leveraging of private capital to invest in a number of small-scale, labour-intensive projects to repair and conserve Protected Structures (included in the Record of Protected Structures in the County Development Plan  and the Bray, Wicklow and Arklow Town Development Plans) and in certain cases, for the conservation of structures within Architectural Conservation Areas, and to support the employment of skilled and experienced conservation professionals, craftworkers and tradespeople.

This scheme will be administered by the Wicklow Local Authorities with a fixed amount of funding allocated from the fund in 2014. Applicants should read the guidelines and be familiar with the qualifying criteria and conditions of the scheme.
