Heritage Council Heritage Management Fund Open For Applicants

The Heritage Council intends to allocate the sum of €700,000 to its Heritage Management Scheme in 2014. Applications are now invited from indivuduals and groups all over Ireland.

Eligible projects include the production of conservation plans for  places or structures or the implementing of actions identified already in a conservation plan; also conservation works on objects or structures (other than protected structures) are eligible.

Applications are to be submitted through the online grants system located at   http://www.heritagecouncil.ie/grants/grants/

Closing date is Wednesday 15th January at 5pm.

Please note that due to funding constraints the Heritage Council is NOT in a position to fund works to Protected Structures – A seperate scheme called the Built Heritage and Jobs Leverage Scheme (BHJLS) to be coordinated by Wicklow County Council on behalf of the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht is in place to support works to Protected Structures and buildings in Architectural Conservation Areas (ACAs).
