Weapons of The Easter Rising

British bolt action rifle possibly bought from a returning soldier from WWI. It was used by a relative of the owner in both the Easter Rising and War of Independence. It was hidden away during the Civil War and later found in the tool shed of the owner’s father.

Presented by David Owens to the Wicklow Life 1916 Public Collections Day
