This school pack is an educational resource for classroom use by students in association with A Route through the Past brochure (linked below). The Archaeology School Activities Pack is produced by the Heritage Office of Wicklow County Council. The aim of this pack is to enhance student’s appreciation for and understanding of archaeology generally by using the N11, Newtownmountkennedy to Ballynabarney Road Improvement scheme, Co. Wicklow as a study area. The pack is targeted at primary school senior classes and secondary school junior certificate and transition year groups. Through guided visualisation the students will gain a sense of different ages in history and will appreciate the importance of Archaeology in the modern world.
