Heather, Hills & Hearths
Heather, Hills and Hearths, a book on the history of the Rathdangan area, was launched in the Seamus O’Toole Memorial Hall, Rathdangan on Friday 7th December 2018 by the legendary broadcaster Michéal O Muircheartaigh.
Heather, Hills and Hearths is a high quality, 464 page hard-back illustrated collection of history and memories from the Rathdangan area. The book was researched, compiled and edited by the Rathdangan History Group and published by Rathdangan Community Council.
Heather, Hills and Hearths is on sale in the Seamus O’Toole Memorial Hall, Rathdangan (9.30am-1pm every day up to 21st December), and in Juniors Bar, Rathdangan (normal opening hours), it’s a bargain at €25. Please phone Michael O’Toole on 087 7949321 if you need to pick up a book outside these hours.
