Gardening for Wildlife in the Garden County!

Make space for nature in your Garden
Nature provides an endless source of fascination and interest so why not bring nature right to your doorstep? A new publication from the Heritage Office of Wicklow County Council invites us all make our gardens more wildlife friendly.
‘Garden Wildlife of Wicklow’ has lots of tips for suitable plants to encourage birds and pollinating insects, and folds out to a full colour poster to help us identify some of our more common visitors. No matter how big or small your garden is, whether it is a small balcony or a larger green space, inviting wildlife to share it is good for biodiversity and is good for us.
This fold out poster publication is designed to complement the ‘Gardening for Biodiversity Booklet’ produced by the Local Authority Heritage Officer Network in 2020. A copy of this poster is available to download as a pdf below or hard copies can be posted free of charge courtesy of Wicklow County Council.
This project is one of the biodiversity actions of the County Wicklow Heritage Plan and is co-funded by the Heritage Council and Wicklow County Council
