Genealogical Query
I have been to Glenealey where Luke’s family is to have lived between 1813 and 1838. They sent me to the R.C. church in Ashford. It is too new, so I was sent to Wicklow. They sent me information on William Brothers of Killavaney, married Catherine Kavanagh in 1848.
Also John and Ann Breathour/Breathower may be the parents of Luke Brothers who moved to Canada before 1838. They lived in Ballinalea, Rathnew 1828-1830, Kindlestown, Delgany in 1830 and previously Wicklow.
Is there anyone who knows of these people ? Luke was my great, great grandfather , who moved to Quebec City in Canada.

I am wondering if anyone can tell me whether there still exist estate records of Parnell’s Avondale Estate and, if so, where they might be located. I am trying to trace an ancestor who might have been a tenant farmer of the Parnells. The period of interest is the mid 1800’s.

I need some help with family tree. All we know is James Lee or Leigh born 3/2/1920. Parents James Lee/Leigh and we think Helen/Ellen Vance. We know in Bray as older family member remembers stories. Can anyone shed any light on this.
