My Irish Family

I’m sure others have similar posts. My great-grandparents were Famine emigrants. My great-grandfather was James Cavanagh, b. abt 1835. He was in my hometown, Oswego, Oswego County, New York in 1855 with his mother (widowed) age 50; sister Elizabeth age 18 and brother Peter age 25 and his wife Mary, age 25 and daughter Mary age 1.

James married Julia Burns from Ontario Canada. They lived in my hometown. Julia died in 1900 and is buried there. James is know where to be found. I’ve been researching him for 40 years.

If anyone has any C/Kavanagh information it would be greatly appreciated.
