Ancient West Wicklow Colouring Storybook by Mairéad Ní Cheallaigh was officially launched by the archaeologist Robert Hanbidge at Baltinglass Library on Tuesday 21 February 2023, 6.30pm-7.30pm in association with The West Wicklow Historical Society.
Mairéad has a deep interest in the ancient past of her native area. This has inspired her ‘Colouring Storybook’. It has text in both Irish and English and the many monochrome images invite shading by the reader.The book is a wonderful learning resource for schools in subjects such as Ancient History, Monuments, Celtic tree calender, Nature, Mythology and the Irish Language.
