‘St Patrick’s Day in County Wicklow: Origins and Traditions’ with Author and Historian Brian White 17th March @ 3pm

Although COVID-19 has put paid to the usual St. Patrick’s Day parade, it doesn’t mean that we can’t still enjoy ourselves and celebrate our wonderful Wicklow heritage.

To mark St Patrick’s Day, Wicklow County Council Library Service are delighted to bring you fascinating afternoon with historian and author Brian White.

Brian will be giving a zoom talk which explores the landing of St Patrick in County Wicklow, the origins and traditions associated with the St Patrick’s Day parade , as well as, the discovery of venomous snakes at Hollybrook and Delgany …

So get on your bit of shamrock, don your greens and join us for an afternoon of culture and craic!
