Hedge School Of Glanmore, Ashford

John Synge- Playwright of Glanmore. Nicholas Grene, Professor of English Literature at Trinity College Dublin, is a Wicklow resident with extensive published work including “J.M. Synge, Travelling Ireland; Essays 1898- 1908.

This talk is taking place in Ashford Community & Heritage Centre at 8 pm on Wednesday 27th May and is part of the Seamus Heaney: Hedge School of Glanmore programme of events supported by the Heritage Office of Wicklow County Council and The Heritage Council. Professor Grene will present on the life of JM Synge, his work and his family connections with Glanmore Estate near Ashford. See www.ashfordheritage.ie. Free of Charge, all welcome.
